Yes, it has been one year since arriving in France and what a year it has been. So many blessings, surprises, excitement, new people we have met and new experiences we have had. The honeymoon has been an exhausting, wonderful time of stepping out in faith and fulfilling "The Call"
During the honeymoon we also experienced challenges, obstacles, pressures, exhaustion, misunderstandings, miscommunication, frustration and feelings of giving up and giving in.
But...we keep going back to THE CALL. When things are not going the way we planned or thought they would go we keep asking "Did God call us here"? and the answer is "Yes".
And if the answer is "Yes" then we gain a new perspective on the present challenges we face. We still follow the pathway but find new God- solutions to deal with new challenges that propels our faith forward.
This is all part of the faith journey. Scripture tells us that our faith will be tested. The test reveals our commitment in action to what we say we believe in our head. Faith without any action is not faith at all.
Stepping out in faith is scary, risky business, but taking that movement into the unknown is how our faith grows.
